Karrimor is a trusted outdoor performance brand creating durable footwear, apparel, and equipment designed to support adventurers across hiking, trail running, and outdoor exploration.
Developing a new outdoor boot/shoe that helps bridge outdoor and fashion, to attract a younger and current audience as well as keeping the Karrimor brand DNA and price point.
The design was to be keeping in line with the KARRIMOR HOT ROCK, as it was a popular style. The design was inspired by this and wanted to keep aligned with it as well as also incorporating newer features such as outsole, lacing systems and overall aesthetics to help achieve that younger consumer as opposed to the traditional karrimor customer.

A low (ripstop) and suede (boot) samples

Alterations were needed to the outsole slightly with lug heights, upper materials and after reviews the ripstop version was needed to be changed into something more similar to the suede boot design
